Going Out with My Daughter

When I went on a date with my daughter in a long time, we enjoyed tteokbokki
[stir-fried rice cake] that sells on the street and also drank coffee in a cafe.

We stopped by a dress shop, choosing clothes for each other. We laughed and chatted a lot. I hope to have this kind of happy day often.

On the way back home, my phone rang.
“Hello? Yes, Mom!”
I talked to Mom about how I had spent the day with my daughter.
Hearing that, she said,

“I envy you. You can go on a date with your daughter.”
Then I realized how long it had been since my last date with my mom.
I will bring this happiness to my mom, too.
