
One day, while I was helping him with his study sheet,
he struggled with addition and subtraction
and asked about his older sister.
“Mom, is she good at math...?” he asked.
“Of course. She can solve problems like these
even with her eyes closed,” I replied.
Taking my words literally, he squeezed his eyes shut
and tried to solve the problem that way.
He looked so adorable that I laughed
until I was clutching my stomach.
