If I Only Had a Wallet

It was when my son was six years old.
I took the bus with my son for the first time
since we moved to a big city.
I paid the bus fare in cash,
but most passengers used their transportation card.
When they tap the card reader with their wallet,
the reader sensed the transportation card in the wallet.
My son, who took a close look at it, said with an envious look,
“Mom, don’t you have that kind of wallet?”
He thought if I only had such a wallet
we could use the bus without cost.
