Dad’s Gifts

Dad said that he would come to the region where I live, for work errands. Halfway through his trip, he stopped by an office supply store and asked if I needed anything. Not wanting to burden him, I simply asked for two black-colored pen refills. But in the end, he bought me four refills and two new pens with black ink. They were precious treasures for his daughter whom he hadn’t seen for months because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dad, I’ll use them well.
