On a holiday morning, I made inari sushi to rekindle my weary husband’s appetite. While filling the tofu pockets with rice, I noticed a few grains had stuck to the surface, forming a shape that looked like a cute face! Inspired, I used lentils, black sesame seeds, and carrot pieces to bring the sushi to life. Watching my husband smile at the adorable inari sushi, I felt as if I had given him a touch of happiness.
